The C-Team football season may have come and gone but teamwork never ends. This winter Coach Stanley Leroy and his Seneca Middle School football players are continuing their exceptional teamwork as they take on a service project to help the homeless in our community. Given the frigid temperatures of the season and the continuing issue of homelessness in our community, these young men are sponsoring a socks and gloves drive – running January 16 – January 31 – to collect these much needed items. The collected gear will be turned over to local law enforcement departments to distribute as needed. Those wishing to participate are asked to bring in new socks (thick socks, such as athletic socks, are preferred) and gloves to be turned in to their first period teacher. Different sizes and colors are welcome. The class donating the most items will receive a Krispy Kreme breakfast, but, more importantly, will know that they have spread warmth this winter season.
