Assistant Principal Michael Hamilton and Special Education chair Stephanie Shepherd receive donation from Knights of Columbus members Joe Vaughn and Ray Stimart
Who knew a tootsie roll was so sweet? The familiar sight of members of the Knights of Columbus handing out these tasty candies during their Operation Hope fundraising campaign has a real and positive significance for the special education community in our area. Recently, Joe Vaughn and Ray Stimart of the Seneca chapter of the Knights of Columbus visited Seneca Middle School not only to hand out a very welcome donation to the school’s special education department but also to share the impressive news that this annual fundraising campaign was such a success that the Knights of Columbus were able to give approximately $30,000.00 to area schools and the Tribble Center. A sweet outcome, indeed.
