The summer between the eighth and ninth grades is an important one as students begin the transition from middle school to high school. For four Seneca Middle School eighth graders this summer will have added importance and also allow for some personal growth and enrichment as they spend several weeks in Greenville at the Governor’s School for the Arts Summery Discovery Program. The four – Ann Marie Butler in Creative Writing, Gregory Adams in Music (percussion), Lauren Bleuel in Music (violin), and Rylee Williams in Music (flute) – were admitted to this elite and prestigious program following a rigorous application/audition process.
