Oohs and aahs resounded around the campus as hundreds of Seneca Middle School students, faculty and staff experienced the once-in-a-lifetime total eclipse on Monday.  Many hours of instruction preceded the event and continued as the eclipse progressed into and out of totality.  The chance to view the eclipse was by itself a thing of wonder but students also participated in making and reporting various observations - from drawings to temperature changes to the construction and use of alternate viewing methods using cardboard boxes, tin foil, white paper and sheets.  What an amazing educational opportunity and what an amazing afternoon!
